Services in Havering for people who have a visual impairment: a review

Dear colleague

I have immense pleasure is sending you a copy of our report, published today, on Services in Havering for people who have a visual impairment.

This report is the culmination of over a year’s work on our part researching what services are available – or ought to be – in the borough.

The report contains a number of recommendations, some specific to particular organisations, others generic.

In the coming months, we will be following up the responses to our recommendations with all concerned.

Kind regards

Ian Buckmaster, MA FCIS

Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile – Brookside Theatre 6-9 June

MURDER ON THE NILE

“Christie’s “whodunit” masterpieces comes to town!”

Following last year’s hugely successful production of ‘The Ghost Train’, the Brookside Theatre are proud to present a stylish and exciting new production of the Queen of Crime’s classic thriller, MURDER ON THE NILE.

On board a steamer, cruising under the scorching Egyptian sun, honeymooners Simon Mostyn and his wealthy socialite wife Kay find themselves being pursued by an old flame of the newly wedded groom. Tragedy strikes… a body is discovered and all fingers point to Simon’s ex fiancée but everything is not what it seems and holidaying cleric, Canon Pennefather is drawn into a web of intrigue and deceit as he finds himself on the trail of a ruthless murderer.

MURDER ON THE NILE is unarguably one of Agatha Christie’s most iconic thrillers, packed full of autocratic dowagers, bright young things, suspicious foreigners, exotic locations and a plot which twists and turns like the Nile itself.

‘Murder On The Nile” runs from Wed 6th to Sat 9th June 2018 at the Brookside Theatre, Romford. Tickets are available from the theatre’s website www.brooksidetheatre.com or call the box office on 01708 755775.
