FREE Wills & LPA Advice Mornings 25/26 January

Are your affairs in order?

We are opening our doors once again this month for our ever-popular FREE Wills and LPA advice seminars.

Over half the population in the UK do not have a Will and this, unfortunately, can lead to difficulties for families and loved ones upon death.

In addition to this, Dementia can lead to you being unable to make your own decisions. A Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to nominate a person to make decisions on your behalf in the future if you become unable to.

Join our free advice sessions to learn about the different types of Wills and Lasting Power of Attorneys, and get some no-obligation tailored advice from one of our solicitors over a coffee afterwards.

Dates:
Friday 25th January 2019
Saturday 26th January 2019

Time (both dates):
10.00am – 11.30am

Location:
Pinney Talfourd Solicitors, 54 Station Road,
Upminster, Essex, RM14 2TU

Save Free TV for Older People – Sign the Petition

For over a million of our oldest citizens the TV is their constant companion and window on the world. And now it’s under threat.

The BBC is considering removing free TV licences from the over-75s.  But this is really the Government’s doing: they pushed the scheme onto the BBC without asking any of us what we think or providing the funding to sustain it.

Together, we must demand the Government takes back responsibility for funding free TV licences for everyone over 75.

Christmas at the Queen’s Friday 7th December – 11am to 1pm – Supported by Pinney Talfourd

You are invited to join us at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch for a festive singalong on Friday 7 December 2018.

Paul Rhodes and the fabulous Dawn Chorus will be performing a range of upbeat Christmas songs including “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree” and “Winter Wonderland” as well as traditional carols during this lively event.

Meet the Mayor of Havering Cllr Dilip Patel who will say a few words during the event before helping to call the winners of the charity raffle which always include fabulous prizes such as Christmas hampers, champagne, restaurant vouchers and much more.

We are also delighted to welcome a local school choir, taught by Paul Rhodes himself, onto the stage during the show to perform their Christmas set.

Refreshments will be available afterwards, courtesy of Pinney Talfourd

This event is in aid of the Queen’s Theatre charitable trust and Pinney Talfourd’s own charity of the year, Tapestry, who are just yards from the theatre and support members of the community with care, wellbeing, health and dementia needs.
