Due to popular demand, we are delighted to announce two new dates at the start of 2024 for our popular seminars discussing Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney.

Join our Private Client team in 2024, as they deliver insightful talks about the importance of having a Will and Lasting Power of Attorney in place.

After the seminars, our dedicated Private Client team will be available to answer your questions while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee together.

Why you need a Will

Did you know that over half of people in the UK currently do not have a Will? This oversight can lead to unfortunate complications after one’s passing. Without a valid Will, family members may contest your wishes, causing your assets to end up in unintended hands, potentially leaving your loved ones in financial distress. Moreover, resolving such matters can be both time-consuming and expensive.

The significance of Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)

It is estimated that over 850,000 people in the UK affected by Dementia and this number is projected to rise to one million by 2025. Dementia can deprive individuals of their ability to make decisions. However, a simple yet powerful document, a Lasting Power of Attorney, allows you to nominate a trusted person to make crucial financial or healthcare decisions on your behalf.

The seminars will take place on:

  • Brentwood – Saturday 10 February 2024 – 09:45am to 11.30am – Pinney Talfourd, 30 Brentwood High Street, Brentwood, Essex CM14 4AJ
  • Upminster – Saturday 23 March 2024 – 09:45am to 11.30am – Pinney Talfourd Solicitors, 54 Station Road, Upminster, RM14 2TU
