This route is ideal for people looking to take their cycling a bit further. Setting out from Chadwell Heath station, we’ll head through Valence to Parsloes Park. There’ll be time for a drink and some snacks before heading on taking in some lovely views of Mayesbrook and Goodmayes Parks. Do join us for a great ride which will boost your confidence on quiet roads which takes in plenty of urban interest.

We are currently looking for new members to join the Havering Independent Advisory Group (IAG)
The role of an IAG is to monitor, observe and advise the police on key aspects of local policing. They are a critical friend, used to appraise the police on policies, practices and procedures. They also contribute to strategic and tactical decisions, particularly with regard to critical incidents. The overall aim of an IAG is to increase trust and confidence in policing amongst the wider community. This is achieved by increased police accountability, improved communication and wider engagement.
The IAG is made up of people from various backgrounds and who live or work in Havering. They have young people to be the voice of youth, local community Ward Panel members as well as people from the Voluntary and Statutory sector. They meet about 6 times a year at Romford Police Station between 7 and 9pm.
The IAG is however keen to increase and refresh it membership and would particularly welcome new members who could represent the views of the diverse communities within Havering. If you are interested in joining the Havering IAG please contact:
