Two new productions for June – A Midsummer Night’s Dream & Ladies Day

Romford Summer Theatre

Midsummer magic!

A Midsummer Night’s Dream: A confection of love and dreams – magic, mayhem and merriment … like chocolate, there is a light and a dark side. This wonderful play has been done in many ways, and, as we make the most of the pretty Rockery setting, we invite you to share in our 2017 Dream – whatever the weather!   Havering’s alternative to Regents Park?  A fraction of the cost and no travel! Why not bring a friend, bring a picnic … bring a coach party!  Tickets £10 on the gate or in advance* 8pm nightly on 22-24 June & 29-1 July, plus matinee on Sunday 2 July www.romfordsummertheatre.com

*Tickets sold in advance cannot be refunded, but patrons are welcome to come to a subsequent performance during this run.

Romford Summer Theatre has been performing Shakespeare in the park for over 60 years

Car parking: enter from Parkway Bus: 174, 498 and N86 stop right outside the park on Main Road.  Train: Nearest stations are Gidea Park &   Romford – 20 minute walk from either.

Ladies’ Day

Amanda Whittington’s exuberant comedy about four likely lasses from the Hull fish docks. Work, love and life are just one long, hard slog for this fish-filleting foursome – until they have a trip to Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot the year it relocated to York. Drinks, flirting and a flutter – it turns out that people are not always what they seem … Ladies’ Day is Guildonian’s entry into this year’s Havering Drama Festival.  June 7-10 (Wednesday to Saturday)  8pm nightly, plus 2.30pm Saturday matinee

Pinney Talfourd’s next free wills events – 7th/8th April

Join us on one of our free Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney events on 7th and 8th April to find out if your affairs are in order.

Over half of the population in the United Kingdom do not have a Will and this, unfortunately, can lead to difficulties upon death. Your assets may not pass to whom you want to inherit, leaving your loved ones in financial difficulties. It also can be time-consuming and expensive to resolve. In order to ensure your affairs are in order, we recommend that you prepare a Will.

According to research, over 850,000 people in the United Kingdom have Dementia; this figure has been estimated to rise to 1 million in 2025. Dementia can lead to your loved one being unable to make their own decisions regarding their financial affairs. By setting up a Lasting Power of Attorney now, you are able to nominate a person (your Attorney) to make decisions on your behalf in the future if you become unable to.

Ensure that your affairs are in order to minimise stress for your family before and after your death. Join one of our free events to hear a short presentation about the different types of Will and LPA, and get some free tailored advice from one of our solicitors over a coffee afterwards.

Choice of two dates:      Friday 7th April or Saturday 8th April

Time (each event):          11am – 12.30pm

Venue (each event):       Pinney Talfourd LLP Solicitors, 54 Station Road, Upminster, Essex, RM14 2TU

For more information and to book your free place please contact Kayleigh O’Donnell on 01708 229444 or complete the form to the right.
