Wed 17th April, Adults workshop

  • Easter Wreath or Basket making techniques workshop – collaborative land of the Fanns project
  • Cost £3, pay on the day
  • Venue: To be held in the workshop and woodland
  • Schedule:  10.30 – 12.30
  • Size: up to 15 people, advance booking required

Thurs 18th April Family workshop

  • Easter Willow Weaving workshop and garden egg hunt – collaborative land of the Fanns project
  • Venue: To be held in the workshop & western garden
  • Schedule:  10.30 – 12.30
  • Size:  up to 15 children (accompanied by parents/ guardians), advance booking required

Wed 24th April Adults Workshop (to be confirmed)

  • Free outdoor exercise, a taster day in partnership with the sports development team. 12pm-12.45pm, To be held in the western garden
  • could be Tai Chi, Pilates, Yoga or Zumba in the park
  • No booking required

Thurs 25th April, Dogs Trust Stall in the Gardens

  • Dogs Trust are offering a Check, Chip & Clip event on Thurs 25th April. Bring your dog along for a FREE basic health check, microchip & nail clip! Plus, FREE resources including poo bags, ID tags and training tips #Langtonsgardens @DogsTrust
  • Run from 11am-3pm,

Also, in other news, work begins on our new natural playground, bog garden and outdoor learning centre for the community this month, and is due to be completed by the end of May. Funded by The Veolia Havering Riverside Maintenance Trust, Heritage Lottery Fund, and the Land of the Fanns project. We are also getting new heritage signage installed at Langtons Gardens to help people journey around the gardens and learn about our history.
