New Play – The Public Interest – About Winston Churchill – 3 performances only – 25th/26th May

The Premiere of a new play about the life (death) of Winston Churchill will be performed at The
Brookside Theatre in Romford: . Ostensibly based on the diaries of Churchill’s doctor Sir Charles
Wilson the Baron Moran, the play is titled The Public Interest.

-It is February 1965, Charles is in his study trying to put together the opening
chapter of his new book “Churchill The Struggle for Survival”
As he suffers writers block, somebody turns up, an old friend, who, despite being
welcome, has absolutely no business being there as he died this morning. The
friends relive their past together – bringing back another world to be lived one
final time – and judge its implications for the future that will come after them.

The run will be only three performances Friday 25th and a Matinee Saturday 26th
May 2018 in lieu of a tour next year if it is received well.
