The Little Theatre’s next play is just the ticket for Halloween – a ghost story called ‘The Exorcism’ by Don Taylor! Four friends gather in a remote country cottage to celebrate the festive season – whether or not they live to tell the tale remains to be seen … Screened on BBC TV as an episode of the 1972 ‘Dead Of Night’ series, this play had the reputation of being the scariest hour on TV. It opened in the West End in 1975 and tragically actress Mary Ure took her own life after opening night, adding to the plays already dark PR. But don’t worry, our actors are all fit for purpose!
Performances of this ghost story are at The Little Theatre, Methodist Church, Harold Wood, RM3 0DU, Wed 28-Sat 31 October at 8pm nightly, plus 2:30pm Saturday matinee. Why not go as a group – you may not want to go home alone! Tickets £7 on door or reserve on 01708 341442 susiedrama@gmail.com
